Due to extremely high demand, Doan Law Group is currently unable to assist every individual seeking pro bono or reduced-fee bankruptcy services.
If we are unable to accept your case, please contact Bankruptcy Legal Aid Foundation for assistance:
At Doan Law Group, we understand that many individuals facing financial hardship are simply unable to afford the very help they need.
Due to exceptionally high demand for our services, our firm is not able to assist every person who contacts us. While we remain deeply committed to expanding access to justice, availability for pro bono and reduced-fee representation is limited and determined based on attorney capacity and case qualifications.
If we are unable to accept your case, we strongly encourage you to seek assistance through Bankruptcy Legal Aid Foundation (BLAF) at:
BLAF is dedicated to helping financially distressed individuals obtain access to bankruptcy relief and related legal resources.
When capacity allows, Doan Law Group proudly offers pro bono (free) and reduced-fee Chapter 7 bankruptcy services to qualifying clients across Southern California and the Central District of California, including Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino, and Santa Ana.
Our mission remains straightforward: to help honest, hardworking Californians obtain the fresh start they deserve under the law, particularly those who would otherwise proceed without counsel.
However, the volume of requests for assistance often exceeds the firm’s available resources. For that reason, we evaluate each request carefully and accept only a limited number of pro bono or reduced-fee matters at any given time.
Pro bono is short for the Latin phrase pro bono publico, meaning “for the public good.”
It refers to professional legal services provided without charge or at substantially reduced rates for individuals who cannot afford traditional attorney fees.
At Doan Law Group, we believe that the most financially vulnerable debtors should not be denied access to bankruptcy protection solely because of cost. When capacity permits, we partner with churches, community organizations, and legal service providers to extend assistance where possible.
All pro bono and reduced-fee matters begin with a consultation and financial qualification review.
Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis and depends on:
Applicants must provide documentation of income (pay stubs, benefit statements, or tax returns) and complete a financial review prior to any determination.
Because availability is limited, meeting financial criteria does not guarantee acceptance.
If we are unable to accept representation, we will direct applicants to appropriate resources — including Bankruptcy Legal Aid Foundation (www.blaf.law) — or other legal aid and self-help options.
Doan Law Group has helped thousands of Californians eliminate unsecured debt, stop garnishments, prevent repossessions, and rebuild their financial standing through Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
While we cannot assist everyone who seeks our help, we remain committed to ensuring that no individual is left without direction. Every inquiry receives a response and, when appropriate, a referral to reputable legal resources.
If you are struggling with debt and would like to explore whether you qualify for representation, contact Doan Law Group.
We serve clients throughout Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange County, San Diego, San Bernardino, Santa Ana, and across California.
If we are unable to accept your case due to capacity limitations, please contact Bankruptcy Legal Aid Foundation at www.bankruptcylegalaid.org for further assistance.
Pro bono and reduced-fee representation is offered on a limited basis and is subject to attorney availability and firm discretion. Eligibility does not guarantee acceptance. Legal representation begins only upon execution of a signed retainer agreement. Court filing fees and required third-party costs (including credit counseling certificates and credit reports) remain the client’s responsibility unless waived by the court.
